The basics

What is a scrum board?

A scrum board shows a team's work for the current sprint in columns — typically backlog, to do, in progress, review and done. Moving cards across makes progress (and bottlenecks) visible to everyone.

It's equally useful for kanban: limit what's in progress and keep work flowing.

What you can add

  • Task card
  • Bug
  • Column
  • Sticky note

Features

What makes it work

  • Cards with labels and owners

Feature, bug or chore labels and owner initials on every card.

  • Columns as frames

Drag a card between columns; move a whole column and its cards together.

  • Planning templates

Sprint planning (goal, capacity, commitments) and a MoSCoW-prioritised backlog.

  • Real templatesStart from a worked example and make it yours.
  • Smart connectorsDrag a + handle to connect; Tab adds the next step.
  • PNG, SVG & file exportFor docs and slides — or a .json to keep editing.

How it works

Three steps to done

Create a scrum board
  1. Step 1

Start from the sprint board, backlog or planning template.

  2. Step 2

Add cards, set labels and owners from the floating bar.

  3. Step 3

Drag cards across as work moves; export for the sprint review.

Use cases

Who it's for

  • Agile teams

Run sprints, stand-ups and reviews from one board.

  • Freelancers

Track client work from brief to delivered.

  • Student projects

Split group work and see who's doing what.

Scrum Board

Common questions

Is this a full project management tool?

It's a visual board — no due-date reminders, burndown charts or integrations. It's ideal for planning sessions, small teams and personal workflows.

Can my team update it together?

There's no live co-editing. Share a link or file after planning; each person gets their own copy.

How do I add a label or owner to a card?

Select the card and type in the Label and Owner boxes on the floating bar.

Is it free?

Yes, free with no sign-up.
