How to use the Sign PDF
- Choose the PDF to sign.
- Create your signature — draw it with a mouse or finger, type your name, or upload a photo of it.
- Click the page to place it, drag and resize it, add the date if needed, then download.
What does this tool do?
The signature is added as an image on the page, exactly like signing a printout and scanning it — which is what most landlords, schools, HR teams and freelancers’ clients ask for. Uploaded signatures can have their white paper background removed automatically.
Your PDF is processed on your own device and never uploaded. Your signature is never stored.

Accuracy and limits
- This is a visual signature, not a certificate-based digital signature (PAdES). Documents that require a qualified or verified e-signature need a dedicated signing service.
Privacy
Your files are processed entirely in your browser using built-in web technologies. They are not uploaded to our servers, and closing the page clears them from memory. There's no account to create and nothing to install.
