Why some PDF tools are “coming soon”
Shrinking a PDF properly, adding password encryption or converting a PDF into an editable Word file all need heavy processing that we can't yet do reliably in a browser. Rather than offer a version that quietly fails, we list them on the roadmap until they work properly.

Are my PDFs uploaded?
No. Merging, splitting, rotating and converting all run in your browser using open-source PDF libraries.
Can I use password-protected PDFs?
Not yet. Open the file in your PDF reader, remove the password, then use the tool.
Is there a file size limit?
There's no fixed limit, but very large PDFs (hundreds of MB) can run out of browser memory, especially on phones.
