How to use the QR Code Generator
- Choose what the code should contain.
- Enter your details.
- Adjust colors and error correction if you like.
- Download as PNG (for screens and print) or SVG (for designers).
What does this tool do?
These are static QR codes: your information is stored directly in the pattern. There's no redirect service in the middle, so the code keeps working forever and nobody — including us — can track scans or change where it points.
Higher error correction lets a code survive damage or a logo placed on top, at the cost of a denser pattern.
Why use it?
- Never expires, unlike many “free” dynamic QR services.
- No tracking or sign-up.
- Print-quality PNG and scalable SVG.
Printing tips
Keep codes at least 2 × 2 cm (0.8 in) for close scanning, larger for posters. Use dark on light, keep the quiet zone (the white border), and always test with a couple of phones before printing a batch.
Accuracy and limits
- Long text makes a dense code that's harder to scan. For long URLs, consider a shorter link.
Privacy
Everything you type is processed in your browser. Nothing you enter is sent to our servers or stored by us. There's no account to create and nothing to install.
Frequently asked questions
Do these QR codes expire?
No. The content is encoded in the image itself, so it works as long as the link or details inside are valid.
Can I change the link later?
No — that requires a “dynamic” code that goes through a redirect service. Static codes are more private and never break if a service shuts down.
