How to use the Flyer Maker
- Open the editor and choose a paper size: A4, A5, US Letter, square or your own custom size.
- Pick one of 16 templates for business, restaurants, fashion, real estate, parties, events, fitness or promotions — or start with a blank page.
- Click any word to edit it. Change fonts, sizes and colours, or set the brand colours once in the Brand tab and let every shape follow.
- Upload your photos into the empty frames, then crop them by zooming and moving the focus point.
- Add shapes, icons and a QR code for your website, menu or booking page from the Elements and QR & icons tabs.
- Check the safe margin, then download a PDF at 150 or 300 dpi, or a PNG or JPG.
What does this tool do?
A flyer has a few seconds to do one job: tell someone what is on offer and what to do next. The templates here follow that shape — a clear headline, one picture that carries the mood, a short list of details, and a call to action with contact information. Everything is editable, so you can keep the structure and replace every word, or take it apart and build your own.
The editor works like a design tool. Templates and settings are on the left, the flyer is in the middle where you can drag, resize, rotate and layer anything, and the settings for what you have selected are on the right. Undo and redo cover every change, and your work is saved in this browser as you go.
Templates are built from the editor's own text, shapes and picture frames, so nothing is locked. Colours are stored as a palette, which means changing the brand colour in one place restyles the whole flyer. Backgrounds can be a solid colour, a gradient, a pattern or your own photo.
The flyer is drawn at 150 pixels per inch. That makes A4 exactly 1240 × 1754 px, and the 2× download a true 300 dpi file — the quality print shops ask for. The PDF is made at the real paper size, so an A4 flyer opens as an A4 page.
QR codes are generated on your device from the address you type. They hold the address itself, so they never expire and do not track scans. Everything runs in your browser: your photos, your designs and your downloads are never uploaded, and there is no account, watermark or export limit.
How to get a flyer printed well
Download the PDF at 300 dpi (the Print option) and send that file to the printer. Ask whether they need bleed — extra artwork beyond the trim line — because this editor's download is cut exactly at the page edge. If they do need bleed, keep backgrounds simple and ask them to extend the colour, or add a few millimetres by choosing a custom size slightly larger than the paper.
Keep text and logos inside the safe margin (switch it on in the page settings). Print the flyer on your own printer first and scan the QR code with a phone before ordering a large run. Screens show brighter colours than paper, so a printed flyer can look a little different.

Which paper size should I choose?
Choose the size before you start designing. You can change it later, but the layout is adjusted rather than redesigned, so check it afterwards.
| Size | Printed size | Pixels (150 dpi) | Typical use |
|---|---|---|---|
| A4 portrait | 210 × 297 mm | 1240 × 1754 | Standard flyers and posters outside the US |
| A5 portrait | 148 × 210 mm | 874 × 1240 | Handouts, counter flyers and inserts |
| US Letter | 8.5 × 11 in | 1275 × 1650 | Flyers in the US and Canada |
| Square | 8 × 8 in | 1200 × 1200 | Social posts and square prints |
| Custom | Your choice | 320–4000 px a side | Any other shape |
Common mistakes
- Too many words. A flyer is read in seconds, so keep one headline, a few details and one action.
- Small text. Body text below about 28 px on an A4 canvas is hard to read at arm's length.
- A low-resolution photo. For a 300 dpi A4 print, use a picture at least 2000 pixels on its long side.
- Putting text too near the edge. Printers trim a few millimetres, so keep it inside the safe margin.
- A QR code that is too small or low-contrast. Print it at least 2 cm wide, dark on light, and test it.
- Forgetting the call to action. Say exactly what to do: call, scan, visit or book.
Accuracy and limits
- The templates contain no photographs. Every picture frame is empty until you add your own, and a download shows an empty frame as a grey box, so fill or delete each one first.
- The download is cut exactly at the page edge and has no bleed or crop marks. Ask your printer if they need bleed.
- Colours are RGB. Printed colours depend on the printer and paper and may look a little different from the screen.
- The PDF contains a high-quality image of your flyer, so its text cannot be selected or searched.
- A QR code is made from exactly what you type. Check the address, and test the printed code with a phone before a large print run.
- Templates are designed for A4 and A5. Other sizes are adjusted automatically, so check the layout after changing size.
- Designs and photos are stored in this browser only. Clearing site data or using a private window can remove them, so save a project file for anything important.

Frequently asked questions
Is this flyer maker free?
Yes. Every template, the editor and every download are free, with no account and no watermark.
What sizes can I make a flyer in?
A4, A5, US Letter and square are built in, and you can type any custom width and height. The editor shows the printed size in millimetres and inches.
Can I print the flyer?
Yes. Download the PDF at the Print (300 dpi) setting and send it to a print shop, or print it at home. The PDF is made at the real paper size.
Can I add a QR code?
Yes. Open QR & icons, type a web address, email, phone number or text, choose the colours and add it. It is made on your device and holds the address directly, so it does not expire or track scans.
Can I upload my own photos?
Yes. Upload a picture into an empty frame or drop it onto the flyer, then zoom and move the focus point to crop it. Photos stay on your device.
Can I change the colours and fonts?
Yes. Click anything to change it, or open the Brand tab to set the colours and fonts once and restyle the whole flyer.
Can I use a gradient or my own background?
Yes. The Background tab offers solid colours, gradients, textures and your own photo with an optional tint.
Can I download a PNG or JPG?
Yes. Choose PNG for the sharpest edges or JPG for a smaller file, at 150 or 300 dpi, as well as the PDF.
Are my designs uploaded anywhere?
No. Editing and exporting happen in your browser, and designs and photos are stored in this browser only.
