How to use the Add Links to PDF
- Choose a PDF.
- Drag a box over the words, button or image that should be clickable.
- Enter a web address, an email address or a page number, then download.
What does this tool do?
PDFs exported from design tools or scanners often lose their links. Add them back so readers can tap through to your website, email you, or jump to a section — handy for CVs, portfolios, restaurant menus and product catalogues.
Links are invisible in the final PDF; the dashed boxes only show while editing. Enter a number like 5 to link to page 5. Your PDF is processed on your own device and never uploaded.
Why use it?
- Web, email and page links.
- Invisible link areas.
- Keeps the original look.
Privacy
Your files are processed entirely in your browser using built-in web technologies. They are not uploaded to our servers, and closing the page clears them from memory. There's no account to create and nothing to install.
