How to use the Crop PDF
- Choose a PDF.
- Drag on the page preview to draw the area you want to keep.
- Apply it to all pages or just this one, and download.
What does this tool do?
Cropping removes wide white margins so pages read better on phones and e-readers, cuts a slide out of a handout, or trims printer's marks. The trim amounts are shown in millimetres as you draw.
PDF cropping changes the visible page area; the hidden part is still stored in the file. Your PDF is processed on your own device and never uploaded.

Accuracy and limits
- Cropped content isn't deleted, so don't crop to hide confidential information — use proper redaction software for that.
Privacy
Your files are processed entirely in your browser using built-in web technologies. They are not uploaded to our servers, and closing the page clears them from memory. There's no account to create and nothing to install.
