How to use the Add Header & Footer to PDF
- Choose a PDF.
- Fill in any of the six header and footer boxes — use {n}, {total}, {date} and {filename} placeholders.
- Set size, colour and distance from the edge, then download.
What does this tool do?
Use it for “Confidential — Draft” headers, company names, document references, court bundle numbering or “Page 3 of 12” footers on reports and theses.
Text is placed relative to how each page is displayed, so rotated pages are stamped the right way up. Your PDF is processed on your own device and never uploaded.
