How to use the Purchase Order Generator
- Fill in your business details and the vendor details on the left. The preview updates as you type.
- Add each item with a quantity and unit price. Totals, tax and discount are calculated for you.
- Optionally add your logo and notes such as payment terms.
- Click Download PDF, or Print and choose “Save as PDF”.
What does this tool do?
A purchase order (PO) is the document a buyer sends to a supplier to confirm what they want to buy, at what price and when. Once the supplier accepts it, it works like a contract, and their invoice should reference the PO number.
Why use it?

- Separate billing and delivery addresses.
How POs fit in
A typical flow is: you send a purchase order → the supplier confirms and delivers → the supplier sends an invoice quoting your PO number → you pay. Matching the three avoids paying for things you didn't order.

Frequently asked questions
Are my client details saved anywhere?
No. Everything stays in your browser. If you tick “Remember my business details”, only your own business details are saved on this device so you don't have to retype them.
