How to use the SVG to PNG
- Choose one or more SVG files.
- Pick a scale (2× for sharp screens) or an exact width.
- Choose a transparent or solid background.
- Download the PNGs.
What does this tool do?
SVGs are vectors, so they can be rendered at any size without losing sharpness. The SVG is drawn through an image element, which never runs scripts inside the file — so even untrusted SVGs are safe to convert.
Why use it?
- Use logos where SVG isn't supported (email, Office, social media).
- Export icons at multiple sizes.
- Keep transparency.
Tip
For app icons and favicons, export at 512 px or larger, then use the Favicon Generator.
Accuracy and limits
- SVGs that load external fonts or images may render differently, because external files aren't fetched.
Privacy
Your files are processed entirely in your browser using built-in web technologies. They are not uploaded to our servers, and closing the page clears them from memory. There's no account to create and nothing to install.
Frequently asked questions
Are my photos uploaded?
No. Everything happens in your browser using the Canvas API. Your images never leave your device, which is why it works even on a slow connection.
