How to use the Schema Markup Generator

What does this tool do?
Structured data describes a page in a machine-readable way — that it's an article with an author and date, or a business with an address. It can make pages eligible for rich results in Google.
Markup must describe content that's actually visible on the page. Marking up content users can't see is against Google's guidelines.
Why use it?
- Valid JSON-LD without hand-writing it.
- Six common types.
- Safely escaped output.
Which type?
Organization for your homepage, Article for blog posts, LocalBusiness for shops and offices, Product for product pages, BreadcrumbList for navigation trails, FAQPage for genuine FAQ sections.
Privacy
Everything you type is processed in your browser. Nothing you enter is sent to our servers or stored by us. There's no account to create and nothing to install.
Frequently asked questions
Will FAQ schema give me rich results?
Since 2023 Google shows FAQ rich results mainly for well-known government and health websites. The markup is still valid, but don't expect the extra snippet on most sites.
