How to use the GPS Coordinate Converter
- Enter a latitude and longitude in any format.
- Read decimal degrees, DMS, decimal minutes and UTM.
- Open the point in a map to check it.
What does this tool do?
Coordinates appear in several formats: decimal degrees (51.50073), degrees-minutes-seconds (51° 30′ 2.6″ N) and degrees with decimal minutes (51° 30.0438′ N) — common on GPS units and nautical charts. UTM gives metres east and north within a zone.
The converter accepts N/S/E/W letters or minus signs, and works entirely in your browser.
Why use it?
- Four formats.
- UTM included.
- Forgiving input.
