How to use the Dockerfile Generator
- Choose your stack and version.
- Set the port, package manager and start command.
- Copy the Dockerfile and .dockerignore into your project.
What does this tool do?
The templates follow common best practice: slim or Alpine base images, dependency installation before copying source (for better layer caching), multi-stage builds that leave build tools out of the final image, and running as a non-root user. Next.js uses standalone output for a small image.
Everything runs in your browser — nothing you paste is uploaded.
Why use it?
- Six stacks.
- Multi-stage builds.
- Non-root by default.
