How to use the Case Converter
- Type or paste your text into the box.
- Choose the case you want — the result updates instantly.
- Copy the result or download it as a text file.
What does this tool do?
Typed something with Caps Lock on, or pasted a title in all capitals? The converter rewrites the letters without changing anything else — punctuation, numbers and line breaks stay where they are.
Sentence case capitalizes the first letter of each sentence and the word “I”. Capitalized Case capitalizes every word. Title Case follows Chicago style, leaving small words like “and” and “of” lowercase.
Why use it?
- Fix caps-lock accidents instantly.
- Format headings and product names consistently.
- Works with accented letters.
Examples
The same sentence in each style:
| Style | Result |
|---|---|
| Sentence case | The quick brown fox jumps over the lazy dog. |
| lowercase | the quick brown fox jumps over the lazy dog. |
| UPPERCASE | THE QUICK BROWN FOX JUMPS OVER THE LAZY DOG. |
| Capitalized Case | The Quick Brown Fox Jumps Over The Lazy Dog. |
| Title Case | The Quick Brown Fox Jumps over the Lazy Dog. |
Accuracy and limits
- Sentence case can't know which words are names, so proper nouns (London, Maria) will need capitalizing by hand.

Frequently asked questions
What's the difference between Capitalized Case and Title Case?
