How to use the Audio Speed Changer
- Choose an audio file.
- Set the speed — or tap a preset like 1.25× or 0.75×.
- Keep “original pitch” on for natural voices, apply, then preview and download.
What does this tool do?
Pitch-preserving speed change uses WSOLA time-stretching, the same family of technique as podcast apps: it overlaps short slices of audio aligned to the waveform, so voices stay natural. Turning it off resamples instead, like playing a record at the wrong speed.
Audio is processed on your own device and never uploaded. Results download as lossless WAV, which plays on every device.
Why use it?
- Keep or change pitch.
- 0.5× to 2.5×.
- Shows the new length.
