What does this tool do?

Each digit is raised independently and wraps from 9 back to 0, with no carrying between digits — so 1299 with +1 becomes 2300. It is the digit-by-digit version of a Caesar shift, used in puzzles, simple obfuscation and programming exercises.

Everything runs in your browser, so nothing you enter is uploaded or stored.

Why use it?

  • Free, with no sign-up and no limits.
  • Instant results as you type.

Is this the same as adding to the number?

No. Normal addition carries between digits; this changes every digit separately and wraps at 9.
