Daily English Speaking Practice
Five small tasks. Five minutes. A streak that grows.
About the Daily English Speaking Practice
Consistency beats intensity in language practice. Each day this page builds a five-task routine from the library: a tongue twister to warm up, a speaking prompt with useful phrases, a difficult word with its phonetics, a minimal pair to listen to, and a sentence to read aloud.
Tick off each task as you finish and your streak grows. The routine is the same for everyone on the same day, and everything is saved on your device. Miss a day and the streak resets, so it works as a gentle daily habit.
The routine is deliberately small so that you will actually do it. Each task trains something different: the twister warms the mouth, the prompt builds fluency, the word and the pair train accuracy, and the sentence connects it all to reading. After two weeks of daily practice most learners notice they hesitate less and recover from slips faster.
How to use it
- 1Open today's five tasks.
- 2Do each one: say it, time it, listen to it.
- 3Tick the task when it's done.
- 4Finish all five to complete today and extend your streak.
Practice tips
- Do it at the same time each day: after coffee, or before lunch.
- For the speaking prompt, talk until the timer ends without stopping.
- Record yourself once a week to hear improvement.
- If you're short on time, do three tasks. A short day still counts.
What it measures, and what it doesn’t
A day counts toward your streak as soon as you tick any task. Tasks are self-reported; the app doesn't judge your pronunciation.
What your browser needs: Optional: speech voices and a timer; no microphone required.
Progress is saved in your browser only. See the privacy policy.
