Trail Link — free online logic game
Draw one unbroken trail through every cell, hitting the numbers in order.
About Trail Link
Trail Link is a path-drawing logic puzzle. A grid hides numbered checkpoints, and your job is to draw a single continuous line that passes through every cell exactly once while visiting the numbers in order. Boards grow from 4×4 to 7×7 as you level up, and a fresh daily board is the same for everyone each day.
Your best score, XP and achievements are saved in this browser only. Switch to Daily challenge in the game bar to play today’s shared puzzle.
How to play Trail Link
- 1Start on the cell marked 1 — press it, or drag from it.
- 2Drag (or tap) neighbouring cells to extend the trail. You can only move up, down, left or right.
- 3Reach the numbers in order: 1, 2, 3 and so on.
- 4Fill every cell, finishing on the highest number, to solve the board. Drag back over your trail to undo.
Controls: Mouse or touch: drag across cells, or tap adjacent cells one at a time. Keyboard: arrow keys move the trail head.
Tips and strategy
- Work backwards from the last number — it must be the final cell.
- Corners and edge cells have few exits; plan them first.
- If a cell has only one free neighbour left, your trail must end or pass through there.
- Use Undo freely — there is no penalty for retracing.
Trail Link FAQ
Is every Trail Link board solvable?
Yes. Each board is generated from a complete trail, so a solution always exists. There may be more than one valid solution.
How does the daily board work?
Everyone gets the same board each UTC day, generated from the date, so you can compare notes with friends. It resets at midnight UTC.
Is this like Zip or Hamiltonian path puzzles?
It is the same family of puzzle: a Hamiltonian path with ordered checkpoints. This version is an original build with its own boards and scoring.
